Objectives for Initiating the Program

Through the WASH program, EPDA is committed to transforming the lives of Cameroonians by ensuring access to clean water and sanitation, fostering healthier and more resilient communities.

Increase Access to Safe Water: Provide at least 100,000 people with access to potable water by 2025 through the construction of boreholes and wells.
Enhance Sanitation Facilities: Develop eco-friendly toilets in underserved communities to improve sanitation and hygiene practices.
Promote Hygiene Education: Implement educational campaigns focusing on hygiene practices, particularly handwashing, to reduce disease transmission.
Train Local Technicians: Equip community members with the skills to maintain water points and sanitation facilities, ensuring sustainability and reliability.
