WHERE WE WORK
EPDA provides high priority and need-based interventions in low-income communities (LIC) and communities in need (CIN) throughout the national territory of Cameroon in a bit to contribute to the well-being of the local population, who are poor, in need and/or depend mostly on natural resources for their livelihoods. Our work focuses on environmental protection, poverty alleviation, and the reduction of suffering/hunger. We ensure our projects are tailored to the specific needs of the beneficiaries while respecting the cultural norms of the local communities as well as national and international frameworks and policies that support such interventions. We, therefore, engage community groups especially youth and women in our work and ensure that our actions influence the decision and policy-making processes as well as local ownership. Currently, we work in the North West and southwest regions with plans to extend to the Littoral, South, East and the Far North regions of Cameroon
